First, this project was published in the "Our Wishlist" section.

The project was interesting because the prototype itself, Sideboard Eugene Gaillard, Louis-Désir-Eugène sideboard for Samuel Bing most likely no longer exists, was created (probably) in a single copy for the world exhibition in Paris in 1900 by order and for the pavilion of furniture dealer Samuel Bing. There was a single photograph. Why was this one chosen out of the many candidates? the arguments are several -

• this particular option was unique to the extent that there was nothing similar among the many other candidates
• it was the option that remained relevant in our changed world with ceilings that have gotten lower, rooms that have gotten smaller,
• A& in his brief artistic career, while in exile at a turnip harvest in a pioneer camp, during a tour consisting of a single performance before very young schoolchildren, performed the role of the samovar from the thriller "The Mukha-tsokotukha" by K.I.Chukovsky. The role was without words, but with laughter. And the pose was exactly that.

2022-06-18 work was begun on the drawings.

2022-07-22 material was purchased. Then 10 days of cutting out parts. Another 10 days of sanding. Some days sanding, assembling, painting.

2022-08-26 the sideboard was "up on its feet."

For this piece we had to figure out how to make a new color for us - "rose wood".

The product was originally conceived and designed with the possibility of delivery by the Russian Post anywhere in the world. Another thing is that the governments of different countries are formed by very bright personalities, like peacocks - bright colors, rainbows, enchanting voices, but gray as a substance is clearly missing. The consequence of this rainbow? - to some countries delivery is only possible through intermediaries.

The dimensions of the piece will be like the prototype - H. 184,0 ; L. 107,0 ; P. 41,0 cm.
