This mirror was spotted in 2019 at the Musée d'Orsay, Paris.

The picture is directly from the website of the Musée d'Orsay. An interesting solution is the mirror, framed in wood. But the elements of the design are made as if in covers, perceived literally as crocheted covers. Although on the list of those mirror frames that the author wants to make for someone, this particular mirror comes in at number 3, it is published first. Unlike "mirror #1" you can even facet the glass for this piece (modern manufacturers refuse to facet mirror #1).

This floor mirror is quite in the spirit of art nouveau furniture. Maybe even art deco furniture. You can't buy anything like that now. We will not try to make inlaid or marquetry on the surface of the frame, our material selection is much more modest than that of Bugatti, and I think our clients are also more modest. We will offer only beech, oak or ash. However, taking into consideration the shape of the mirror frame we can venture into walnut or mahogany. You can also use crochet as decoration, you can use natural leather or textiles. Mirror glass can be tinted - bronze, silver, gold, probably other colors.
