This picture is known to many people.

Original Attributed to Joan Busquets I Jané.

The source of distribution of the picture was probably the antique auction. The description states "mahogany, gilt-metal, bevelled mirror glass, mould-blown and frosted glass shades". The dimensions of the original are 54½ in. (138.5 cm.) high; 39½ in. (100 cm.) wide. At the auction lot was not sold.

I liked the idea of the design of the mirror.

Of course, we do not and will not have such "gilt-metal & mold-blown and frosted glass shades" items. But you have ebay, where you can find something suitable. We can make a frame with a mirror. These days, the value of lacquered mahogany is spoiled by the mass proliferation of fake plastic. We will suggest using solid ash, oak, beech or birch (it is from birch that many items that look like mahogany are actually made). We will suggest to use natural leather or textile finish - depending on the interior where the mirror is supposed to be used. We think that Joan Busquets I Jané's design of the mirror is more elegant than a competing modern solution -

The price, of course, will not be 100USD. It will be much more. To be or not to be your order? - help in deciding.

The approximate maximum height will be 1600-1700mm. - It depends on the chosen method of delivery.

Material - oak, beech or ash, depending on the circumstances and the choice of color.

You may ask - ha, it's a picture, but what will be the result?

We'll answer - in Russia, words are not thrown around, "said = done". That was an unfortunate example of the chair in the Musée d'Orsay (the drawbacks - uncomfortable angle of reclining the back, impossibility to change the upholstery, lack of ventilation in the back area, only one copy that is not for sale) and our answer - A&O graceful elegant Art Nouveau chair on the verge of Art Deco "Alexandrolovskaya Champagne Saucer with heel", which has no such disadvantages.
